We are a leading Accounting and Advisory Services firm, recognized in the top 100, and we’re excited to welcome a Senior Tax Accountant to our expanding Merced, CA office. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in public accounting and either hold an active CPA license or be an EA actively working towards CPA certification. While we value in-office collaboration, we offer flexible hybrid-remote options and are open to fully remote arrangements for exceptional candidates.

Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, C-Corps, S-Corps, estates, and trusts
• Ensure adherence to IRS and state/local tax regulations
• Provide expert tax planning guidance to clients
• Review and prepare financial statements
• Mentor junior team members and support business development
  
  

Senior Tax Accountant Requirments

• Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience
• Active CPA license or EA with plans to pursue CPA certification
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Familiarity with CCH Axcess is preferred
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
