Senior Tax Solicitor - Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Tax Solicitor to support our Corporate Team on a consultancy basis.

If you are a highly motivated Corporate Solicitor with a passion for the tax aspects of M&A, investments and SEIS and EIS reliefs, we invite you to join our team.

This opportunity is suited to an experienced corporate lawyer (10 years plus PQE) who is already working as a consultant and looking for an additional stream of work (this could flexibility be anything from 5 – 15 hours a month).

What we are looking for

  • A UK Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 10 years plus PQE experienced in corporate law, with a focus on tax aspects of M&A and investment transactions, and SEIS and EIS reliefs.
  • Someone to take the lead in drafting and negotiating tax covenants and tax warranties, and assisting our clients with tax disclosures.
  • Someone to take the lead is assisting our clients with applications for advance assurance in respect of SEIS and EIS reliefs, and dealing with HMRC requisitions on the same.
  • Someone with a strong understanding of corporate finance principles, tax law, and regulatory frameworks governing M&A transactions and investments.
