RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do
The Solution Architect is a hands-on architect accountable for articulating, architecting & actively assisting with selling & delivery of Oracle Consulting’s service offerings around integrating the entire Oracle Cloud (& On-premise) Technology stack with the Business Requirements of our clients in order to deliver transformation.
As a Solution Architect, you will:
- Owns the development of solution design for cloud applications; configure Hyperscale’s cloud services like OCI, AWS and Azure for business use case, continuously assess and incorporate new cloud services and features into solution designs.
- Lead cloud architecture frameworks, strategies, and roadmaps to guide the organization's cloud initiatives.
- Codify and maintain secure application deployment patterns on the cloud; review application solution designs for cloud-fit and optimality.
- Coordinate with Enterprise teams to identify and develop observability, traceability and security of cloud applications
- Assist in documentation of solution designs; lead the review of solution designs through formal presentations and demos
- Work in close collaboration with Engineering, DevOps and CIO teams to develop Service Catalogues to continuously enhance the capability, security and user experience of the enterprise cloud Platform.
- Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization of cloud environments through effective design and implementation.
- Implement automation, monitoring, and DevOps practices to streamline cloud operations and enhance efficiency.
- Drive innovation by staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, integrating new tools and practices to enhance our cloud capabilities.
Required Skills/Experience
What You’ll Bring
Your drive, knowledge, and commitment will help us become the number one cloud company in the world. We also look for:
- 15+ years of experience in Consulting (from leading Consulting company) in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless applications using OCI or AWS or Azure services and Python
- Proficiency in application architecture, networking, security, reliability and scalability concepts; software design principles and patterns
- Architecting and implementation experience on migrating monolithic to microservices architecture-based solutions (including both frontend & backend)
- Proven expertise of Containers & Kubernetes and deploying workloads at scale in the OCI OKE using E4.Flex or AWS EKS using Fargate
- Strong Solution design and implementation experience with services such as: Autonomous DB, API Gateway, Serverless, Messaging (Kafka), other Cloud Storage Options etc.
- Deep understanding in Restful Webservices, Microservices Architecture, DevOps tools and practices, such as CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, Puppet, Ansible, GitHub, Jira, Confluence and infrastructure as code/Terraform.
- Knowledge in monitoring Dashboards: Splunk/Grafana/DataDog
- Strong knowledge of cloud Security practices and IAM Policy preparation for OCI or AWS or Azure.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive successful project outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Proven communicator, ability to motivate teams (both internal and external) and build alignment around goals and objectives
- Experience in working with public/government sector is highly preferred
