Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.JS, MySQL, HTML, CSS) - fully remote in Romania

Antal International, on behalf of their client, a fintech startup, is seeking a:

Full Stack Developer – fully remote in Romania

Responsibilities:

• Backend Development:

-Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications using Node.js.

-Design and manage relational databases, primarily using MySQL.

-Implement robust API endpoints for various functionalities.

• Frontend Development:

-Create user-friendly web interfaces with HTML and CSS.

-Optionally, use the Vue.js framework to build dynamic and interactive components.

• Testing and Quality Assurance:

-Write and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality.

-Debug and troubleshoot issues across different layers of the stack.

• Collaboration and Communication:

-Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into responsive front-end interfaces.

-Work with product managers and team members to define project requirements and timelines.

-Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio.


• Proficient in Node.js and MySQL.


• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.


• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Optional but Preferred:

• Experience with the Vue.js framework.


• Familiarity with other JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).


• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.


• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
