Job Purpose

The Senior Channel Marketing Specialist will join the global email marketing team and support the ANZS (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore) market. Reporting to the ANZS Email Channel Manager, this role is responsible for delivering email campaigns and channel strategies that increase customer value and support Vista’s business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the email schedule planning process for ANZS, ensuring alignment with company objectives and priorities while obsessing over our customers and creators.

  • Plan & drive both financial & engagement deliverables for the channel, creating and optimising strategies with the Channel Marketing Manager to ensure these deliverables are met.

  • Own day-to-day campaign management, being the primary point of contact and strategic partner for the ANZS go-to-market and creative teams - providing continuous feedback and refining plans to deliver campaigns that drive financial and customer-engagement targets and support business goals.

  • Be the subject-matter-expert of the channel, being ‘go-to person’ for questions and information for the channel.  

  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all email assets to ensure accuracy, functionality, and brand consistency, reflecting our commitment to delivering amazing results together. 

  • Manage the relationship with the Email Operations team, ensuring campaign requirements are clearly communicated with sufficient lead times for campaign delivery.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the global email planning & operations teams, analytics, project management, go-to-market, creative, and technology groups to conceptualize, develop, and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies that engage customers effectively.

  • Design and implement A/B and multivariate test plans to elevate email performance, manage all aspects to ensure the success of each test, and conduct thorough test analysis to inform next steps. Follow-through on recommendations to ensure test learnings are utilized to grow channel performance.

  • Produce weekly, monthly & ad hoc reports analysing key email metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and profitability, performing data-driven analysis to inform future strategies and initiatives.

  • Stay up to date with email marketing best practices to drive innovation and enhance customer experiences.

  • Support the Channel Marketing Manager in developing the channel strategy & executing growth initiatives.

Essential Experience /Training 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Marketing field (digital/email marketing experience will be highly regarded)

  • Demonstrated success in crafting and rolling out marketing strategies and campaigns that achieve objectives.

  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritise & multitask.

 

Technical skills

  • Ability to interpret and analyse data to drive insights & strategies

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Clear and effective communication skills, with proficiency in articulating ideas and information both in writing and verbally.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a talent for juggling multiple priorities without compromising quality, and an ability to work independently.

 

Desirable Skills/ Experience

  • Understanding of email marketing fundamentals, such as segmentation, personalization strategies, and A/B testing techniques.

  • A passion for tackling challenges and an innate curiosity for discovering innovative solutions.

  • Experience utilising reporting and analytics tools like Looker or Tableau.

  • Aptitude for creative thinking and problem-solving.

  • Experience in evaluating campaign creative and providing constructive feedback to design teams based on best practices and subject matter expertise.

  • Prior experience with JIRA, Trello or other project management tools

  • Ability to work autonomously, as a part of a team, and work effectively with different levels of the organization.
