We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will focus on driving engagement, growing our online communities, and building brand awareness across AMEA regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends and cultural nuances within these regions.
 
Essential Requirements
  • Content Creation: Develop and curate high-quality, region-specific content (text, image, and video) that aligns with Dedalus’s brand voice and objectives.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and monitor social media accounts across multiple platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) tailored to audiences in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner to foster a positive community.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement region-specific social media strategies that align with global campaigns.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices in the AMEA regions to keep our content relevant and engaging.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, communications, and product teams, to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
  • Ad Management: Assist with managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns in the AMEA regions to ensure high ROI.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the AMEA regions.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and cultural nuances specific to Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content tailored to different audiences.
  • Tools: Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
  • Creativity: Ability to think creatively and strategically to produce innovative social media content.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages relevant to the AMEA regions are a plus.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Location: Based in Dubai with the flexibility to work from home.
