Your missions

LightFeather is currently seeking a motivated Junior Recruiter to support our talent acquisition team in finding and attracting top talent. You will assist in managing the hiring process from initial candidate contact through onboarding, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. This position is best suited for someone who is personable, articulate, organized, detail-oriented, a fast typist, and an excellent communicator. It offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to kick-start and develop their career in recruitment and human resources.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside on the East Coast.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely responses and feedback.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases and tracking systems.
  • Create, edit, and manage employee and candidate resumes in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  • Support the review and assessment process for take-home challenge submissions by conducting initial evaluations, ensuring that all submissions meet the outlined criteria and requirements.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications or related field.
  • 0-2 years of internship or work experience in recruitment, including exposure to sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting various stages of the hiring process.
  • Proficiency in Google applications and Microsoft programs.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
