Xpressdocs is looking for a QA Inspector to join our Quality team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all printed materials meet the required quality standards. This role involves inspecting products at various stages of production, identifying, and addressing defects, and verifying compliance with industry regulations and company specifications. The QA Inspector documents findings, prepares reports, and collaborates with the production team to maintain consistent quality and improve processes. Their work is crucial in delivering high-quality printed products and maintaining customer satisfaction.

In this position, you will:

  • Conduct inspections at various stages of the printing process.
  • Compile and submit quality reports to supervisors or management, emphasizing recurring issues such as NCP reports for nonconforming products.
  • Investigate issues as they arise.
  • Verify that all products comply with company and industry standards, including ISO, FSC, or other relevant certifications.
  •  Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, noting any defects and the corrective actions implemented.
  •  Update reports as needed.
  •  Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Previous experience in a QA position. 
  • A solid understanding of fundamental QA principles (is essential).
  • Preferably experienced in a manufacturing setting with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Basic knowledge of the printing industry.
  • Fundamental knowledge of design 
  • Proficient in computer skills 
  • The ability to lift and/or move 50lbs occasionally.
  • The ability to stand and walk up to 80% of the time.
  • The ability to move throughout all departments within the company.
  • The ability to be around loud machinery for up to 9 hours/day.
  • The ability to be confined in a small area.
  • The ability to operate all types of printing machines, phones, and computers.
