The Senior Manager, Home Equity will be an energetic and talented professional to lead the operations and development of the Home Equity team. As a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) our dynamic and fast paced work environment depends on operational excellence, innovation, and collaboration. The Senior Manager will help the Home Equity team attain efficiencies in the processes we support, exceed expectations, support and/or lead critical initiatives, provide cost savings, and engage our employees through a strong culture.

TOP JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Drive successful performance of employees; address performance and ensure employee relations are resolved timely.
  • Manages, supports and monitors all Home Equity loan processes including processing, underwriting, funding, and member service.
  • Ensure proper workforce planning and resource planning.
  • Monitoring SLAs and reporting on productivity, turn times, and volumes to the director. 
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the department budget.
  • Collaborates with other management team leaders to ensure overall goals are achieved.
  • Recognizes areas needing improvement and takes appropriate action.
  • Updates, creates, monitors, and tracks monthly statistical reports to provide to management.
  • Serve as back up to the Director.

Other responsibilities and opportunities: 

  • Responsible for resolving complex escalations. 
  • Lead initiatives and participate in projects as department subject matter expert. 
  • Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, or management preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in Real Estate Lending required.
  • 5 years or management experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of home lending compliance and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. 
  • Ability to lead and influence.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.  
  • Proven ability to organize and handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.

Work Environment- This position operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filling cabinets and fax machines.
