Your missions

Satellite Terminal and Antenna Engineer

Key Role:

Applies expertise and experience in performing research, antenna design, creating prototypes of designs, making development schedules, analyzing budget proposals for development projects, and other ground-based aperture (GBA) support. Tasks may include technical support for antenna hardware installation, alignment, modelling and configuration, calibration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Researches, designs, develops, tests, or supervises the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Employs knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience designing antennas and complex electrical systems
Experience developing 2D wire harness drawings, signal block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and electrical installation drawings
Experience with antenna theory, antenna design, satellite modems, and antenna hardware components
Experience performing electrical loads analysis
Experience with electrical design software
Ability to be a key contributor on an integrated, multidisciplinary team solving complex problems
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

Experience designing electrical systems for US space systems or space domain awareness systems
Experience with AutoCAD
Knowledge of RF signal analysis and antenna cosite analysis
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
