GENERAL PURPOSE
The VP of Channel Strategy is responsible for providing leadership to the company's overall distribution and ancillary strategy. This position is responsible for creating programs, setting expectations, and assessing our dealer footprint to ensure we achieve our revenue and profitability goals. This position also collaborates with sales and brand leaders across the organization to establish shared goals and strategies within our ancillary portfolio that optimize sales and profits.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•    Establish and implement distribution and ancillary long-term strategies.
•    Lead distribution strategy planning, expansion, and optimization initiatives.
•    Design the dealer business planning process; evaluate annual goal setting, commitments and contract status.
•    Continuously evaluate and enhance dealer relationships, programs, technology, processes and tools.
•    Increase market share and dealer “share of wallet” through standard setting and performance management of dealer network.
•    Monitor strategic talent and succession planning programs supporting the dealer network to ensure dealer continuity. 
•    Implement dealer incentive programs to reward alignment, loyalty and great performance in the dealer network.
•    Lead the ancillary team to continuously monitor and adjust the strategic go-to-market approach, ensuring alignment with revenue and margin expectations and adapting to the evolving needs of the ancillary market.
•    Align ancillary portfolio priorities to relevant stakeholders, fostering partnerships and collaboration to drive action and achieve strategic objectives.
•    Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to establish and maintain effective and consistent communication processes with internal stakeholders and all dealer partners.
•    Coaches, mentors and develops leaders; ensures organization is identifying and developing talent.
•    Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Channel Management or related area.
•    Master's Degree preferred.
•    10+ years of Contract Furniture Industry experience and/or significant distribution channel experience.
•    5+ years of successful experience in a leadership position overseeing activities of a major business unit.

Skills and Abilities
•    Highly developed, in-depth knowledge of dealer channel partners, business strategy, corporate culture, and short term/long term financial objectives.
•    Expert ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
•    Ability to use a broad business acumen to see opportunities and risks.
•    Must be profit conscious and proficient with P&L responsibilities.
•    Highly adept at leading through influence, setting direction and delivering results.
•    Strong relationship and consensus-building skills necessary to manage projects in a complex matrixed environment. 
•    Successful experience with change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change process.
•    Proven ability to influence, solve problems, communicate and work with all levels in the organization, including executive leadership.
•    Demonstrated excellent coaching, mentoring, and people development skills.
•    Proven ability to effectively use office software and tools.
•    Willingness and ability to travel.
•    Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.

A starting compensation range for this role is $195,800.00 - $261,350.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
