Your missions

Content Coordinator - Media Marketing

In this position, you will support the creation and distribution of online content to support demand generation for our Media services division in the US and Canada. We represent some of the smartest and most disruptive minds working in the industry, and we’re looking for someone quick to act and eager to learn when it comes to helping us show up online as thought leaders.

We are growing awareness of our media management expertise among our target market by building an engine for thought leadership content development and amplification. We’re looking for someone to create and amplify content on behalf of our subject matter experts with a mix of short-form social media (text posts, image/carousel posts, video where possible) and mid-form content (blogs, op eds). Content generation will be a mix of written copy and social media-ready formats (simple graphics following brand guidelines, utilization of video and audio assets, etc.). Please note that this role is not managing the company social media profile, but editing or ghostwriting for individual thought leaders.

By capturing and converting our subject matter experts’ POVs into shareable formats, we’re aiming to drive engagement from our ICP, the press, partners, and other subject matter experts. The right candidate isn’t afraid to think outside the box to generate authentic, memorable engagement with the right audience. Excellent written communication is the heart of this role, but the ideal applicant will demonstrate the ability to synthesize and distill complex ideas into clear, differentiated, value-based messages and execute engaging formats to share them. We welcome the use of AI/LLMs to extend content creation velocity, but need someone who can go beyond the “typical” B2B content snoozefest to stand out on social feeds. With your application, please provide writing samples of comparable work. As applicable, include a mix of short form (B2B social media posts, etc.) and long form (blog posts, whitepapers/downloadable assets, etc.). These samples may have been ghostwritten on behalf of other individuals or a company page.

Candidates should have a hunger to learn and to experiment. They should test continuously to establish repeatable playbooks for scaling our visibility at key moments, following data to see what’s most effective. They will also research and monitor trends in the ever-changing digital media industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop original thought leadership content, from LinkedIn social media content to blog posts and op eds, to educate readers, showcase our POVs, and support business development. Content to be published on behalf of subject matter experts.
  • Repurpose tentpole content (blogs, case studies, recorded video, etc.) into multiple formats to scale distribution across social media and web
  • Edit, proofread, improve, and lightly SEO optimize pieces produced by subject matter experts
  • Perform SME interviews and independent research to source content ideas and talking points
  • Support development and execution of thought leadership content calendar for Media services aligned with short- and long-term business objectives and target audience’s interests
  • Support and launch website content (blogs, service pages, etc.) to showcase our value propositions and thought leadership
  • Collaborate with agency social media lead and designers to ensure coverage of key thought leadership from the company socials/website
  • Track results and key metrics about content visibility and engagement to continually improve; collaborate with Marketing Director to understand impact on new business pipeline
  • Stay up to date with broader trends in both digital marketing and in key verticals to align content with target audience’s interests

Background & Skills

  • 2+ years of relevant digital marketing and content experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously
  • Ability to project manage several simultaneous initiatives, reacting quickly to news announcements while maintaining long-term objectives
  • Ideal candidates will also have experience in:
    • Organic social media management (namely LinkedIn) for B2B
    • Simple design software platforms, namely Figma
    • SEO content fundamentals
    • Basic webpage building/CMS platforms (Drupal, Wordpress, Squarespace, etc.)
    • Exposure to digital media buying (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, display/video, etc.) strongly preferred
