The Opportunity:
We are looking for a determined Production Associate to join our dynamic supply chain operations team; this role will report to our Production Manager. As our Production Associate, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between production, inventory allocation, and distribution. Your professionalism will be critical in maintaining strong vendor relationships, coordinating with the manufacturers, and overseeing the purchasing process while maximizing efficiency. Who You Are: 

The ideal candidate is an organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong aptitude to manage complex processes and relationships. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have some experience coordinating procurement and production schedules. You're proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently, while also excited by working collaboratively. You’re comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. Your keen attention to detail ensures that product data is accurate and up to date, while your analytical mindset helps you identify areas for improvement in processes. You embrace adjusted plans and have a flexible mindset that allows you to meet changing demands and operational requirements. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and draft purchase orders to vendors and suppliers
  • Set up new products and SKUs in Fulfil.io and our 3PL warehouse partner
  • Communicate directly with all vendors on a frequent basis
  • Monitor and support a production capacity and inventory planning model
  • Maintain product, SKU, and vendor information in all systems, and conduct regular audits/validation checks
  • Coordinate quality control inspections with QIMA and our factories as needed
  • Track and confirm purchase orders with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet production needs
  • Assist with various product development initiatives with regard to sampling and the logistics involved
  • Coordinate with the finance department for timely invoice processing and payment
  • Adjust production schedules in response to demand changes, shortages, and/or urgent needs
  • Assist in coordinating production schedules with procurement timelines to ensure smooth operations
  • Onboard vendors to appropriate supply chain platforms and provide instructions guidance and SOPs as needed
  • Proactively seek ways to improve vendor management and procurement processes

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • 1+ years of experience working in procurement, production or supply chain operations at a consumer products brand
  • At least one year experience working with ERPs, Production Hubs, Inventory Management Systems (IMS), or other Procurement systems
  • Experience working directly with vendors and suppliers based in Southeast Asia preferred
  • Experience with platforms and programs such as Anvyl, Flexport, Fulfil.io, Microsoft Office, Excel a plus
  • Highly flexible and comfortable with fluctuating working hours, including shifting the work day to evenings or early mornings based when necessary
  • Someone who excels at process and execution with a ‘no-task-too-small’ attitude
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Experience with Anvyl and Fulfil.io a plus 
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Notion, Monday.com a plus
  • Bachelors in Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management or similar field preferred
  • Ability to speak Mandarin a plus

The anticipated base salary range for this role ​is $60,000 - $70,000 - Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors determining the base pay at offer, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, experience. This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
