This is a remote role with occasional travel to our main office in Long Island, NY for meetings and collaboration.

Position Overview:

HRIS Analyst is an essential position for our People & Culture team. You will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting our HRIS system and other related systems for the People & Culture Department. You will serve as a point of contact for all things tech for the People & Culture team. You will be an out of the box thinker and a techie at heart! You love to find and execute simple solutions to complex processes. Building and maintaining internal tools and dashboards is second nature to you. You are agile - you are energized by working in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment

This position does not have any direct reports, but informs and may lead others in project work and is a thought leader.

Every Day you Will:

  • Translates business needs into functional and technical requirements
  • Contribute to the development of HRIS strategy, policies and procedures
  • Develop system architecture and seamless integration of systems to enhance automation and efficiency and user experience
  • Provides technical support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
  • Develops and automates reports for business needs
  • Helps maintain data integrity in systems including analysis and validation for HRMS to ensure quality control, maintain adherence to established procedures, and meet audit compliance
  • Regularly audits compliance measures based off of federal, state, and local laws (essential for nationwide and product expansion efforts)
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets and structure the data so that it's meaningful to the HR community and informs business decision
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (analytics, IT, finance) to cross-compare people data as it relates to the overall functionality and health of the organization from a people and a financial perspective
  • Perform vendor analyses for new and existing systems and complete needs assessments
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years strong technical and working knowledge of HRIS experience ideally in a high-growth environment
  • Experience with HRMS implementation is highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of key HRMS Modules: Performance Management, Benefits, Compensation and Core HR
  • Expertise in high level data analytics and people reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail
  • Clear, thoughtful verbal and written communications
  • Working knowledge of People Operations is preferred
  • Experience with API and 3rd party integrations, data movement, and ETL (extraction/transformation/loading) that support moving sizable sets of data
  • Tableau experience is preferred

Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess:

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced, complex and scaling environment.
  • Experience administering and implementing modern HRIS systems, compliance, and data reporting platforms
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including problem solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand business requirements & needs of employees, and translate them into operational requirements
  • Tech savvy and comfortable with data and multiple HR platforms  (HRIS, Payroll, Project Management)
  • Strong understanding of people related data and a demonstrated ability to present data in thoughtful and coherent way
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring Great at humanizing “HR” into what it is really intended for… supporting and developing people, creating a fulfilling work environment where we can all do and be our best
  • Ability to track projects and programs and move them forward to completion in a timely manner; ability to collaborate effectively with people across the business; excellent project and time management skills
  • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results

At FreedomCare, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $90,000 and $100,000 per year at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.
