Your missions

Become an Outcoder as a Data Engineer (Scala Spark)

The Data Engineer (Scala Spark) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our big data platform, with a focus on building scalable data processing systems using Scala, Spark, and other technologies within the Hadoop ecosystem. This role demands a strong foundation in data engineering, streaming data architectures, and a passion for software craftsmanship.

What you’ll need to be successful:

4-10 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on big data platform development.

Expertise in Scala Spark, with a strong understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem, including HBase and Hive.

Experience with streaming data architectures and technologies for real-time and low-latency data processing.

Proficiency in agile development methodologies and a solid grasp of continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Familiarity with NoSQL technologies, including column family, graph, document, and key-value data storage solutions, is a plus.

Passion for software craftsmanship, with a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Experience in the financial industry is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
