The Source to Pay (S2P) subject matter expert is the point of contact for the internal Procurement Operations team. The S2P subject matter expert will ensure successful processing of all procurement activities that includes resolving complex issues and ensuring seamless maintenance of purchase orders/requisitions. As a member of the DIRECTV Procurement team, the S2P subject matter expert plays a critical role in building the capability and standards of the Procurement function and will support its development and sustainability by ensuring service delivery excellence.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Support User and Supplier management of purchasing framework: Guided Buying, Catalogs, Pricebook – creation, maintenance, integration with vendors, auditing.
  • Serve as champion for procurement platform and associated initiatives.
  • Execute process transformation and measurable operational performance.
  • Understand the entire end to end S2P process and ability to perform effective problem solving.
  • Assess current state business processes and makes recommendations to standardize and optimize opportunities.
  • Connect the contracting and procurement processes and drive optimization efforts.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and associated Policies and Procedures.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to arrive at best practices.
  • Assist with and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for S2P.
  • Collaborative Relationships: Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to develop, implement, and optimize processes and programs that enable the S2P operations to scale.
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders to enable adaption, understanding, and overall operational excellence in all aspects of the business.
  • Participate/lead related cross functional process and system improvement initiatives.
  • Support supplier relationships and dealing with queries and discrepancies.
  • Support users with purchase requisition creation, approval, and processing.
  • Lead end user and supplier training.
  • Lead all system testing activities.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Procurement/Accounting/Finance qualification with preference to one with higher qualification.
  • 5+ Years of Operations or Procurement support required.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong customer service mind-set.
  • Working experience on AP workflows and Oracle application will be preferred.
  • Source to Pay experience is required.
  • Microsoft Visio experience is required.
  • May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.

This role requires, but is not limited to, 5 – 10% travel.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $96,140 - $174,570

Low (N1): $96,140 - $144,210

Mid (N2): $101,200 - $151,800

High (N3): $111,320 - $166,980

Top (N4): $116,380 - $174,570
