Overview:

The Data Security Specialist will have experience with Cyber Security Analysis, Data Security, Running Reports, and Deployment Activities within Data Security. In addition, experience working on tickets, incoming requests, and processing requests
This is a Remote role. M-F, 8-5 PST.


 

Responsibilities:
  • Agile team members focused on Data security tasks.
  • Tasks include monitoring and analyzing data to prevent unauthorized access, use, or transmission of sensitive information.
  • Assist in configuring and managing tools and policies, reviewing alerts for potential data breaches, and investigate incidents to determine their cause and impact.
  • Collaborate with other IT and security teams to implement corrective actions and improve data protection strategies.
Qualifications:

Required Skills/Attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related specialized field.
  • Cyber security background.
  • Engineer background is a must.
  • Large scale project experience.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and discover root cause.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing alerts, investigating issues and documenting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles, basic system administration, basic scripting.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of developing solutions to assist the team in preventing data loss and improving user outcomes.
  • Communication: Effective in educating employees and collaborating with IT teams.
  • Customer focused mindset.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Stellar Documentation and communication is a must.

Desired Skills/Attributes:

  • Certifications: Cyber Security related
  • Understanding of Aigle practices.
  • Understanding of Data Loss Prevention principles and tools.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • DevOps Experience.

Wage Data Per State Requirements:

The salary range for this position is $73,200.00 - $91,500.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
