Job description

CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking a Construction and Facilities Management Technical Support Specialist to support a fully funded effort supporting the Army National Guard’s G-9 Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO).

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing technical documents including memorandums and correspondence.
  • Direct support to States and territories for all matters of military construction.
  • Provide mentor training to CFMO staff on topics that may include resource management, planning and programming, facility management, federal acquisition and other topics as required.
  • Reviewing plans, specifications, and estimates of military construction projects to track and approve milestones and requirements.
  • Assisting with communication on matters related to the ARNG MILCON project and program as directed by the government.
  • Participate in person or through government approved communications in State schedule program charettes.
  • Reviewing State MILCON Programs to identify and suggest forecasts for current and future year MILCON workload.

Multiple Positions may be hired from this announcement.

Expected salary range: $98,000 - $125,000

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS.

Travel:

  • 21-49% / Regular travel expected: Site visits, meetings, training, a conference.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • 10+ years DoD/Federal construction and facilities management office support experience.
  • Direct experience planning charrettes for military construction.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing plans, specifications and estimates of military construction projects to validate construction requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Direct experience conducting site visits in support of construction and facilities management operations.
  • Demonstrated specific knowledge of ARNG CFMO operations to include but not limited to master planning, federal acquisition, work classification, MILCON planning and execution, and program administration.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
  • Valid driver’s license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain CeLeen liability insurance through a clean driving record.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. CeLeen will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

  • Previous experience with ARNG G9.
