The Human Resources Manager, Iberica (HRM) will support Acumed Iberica and will collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and operational needs, translating them into HR strategies and initiatives. They will also provide support and guidance to HR Business Partners, management, and other staff when complex, socialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.

  • Leads the HR function, including the coordination of recruitment activities, compensation programs, on-boarding, employee benefits, health and safety, equal employment opportunity, leadership training/coaching, and employee relations.
  • Leads the Talent Review Cycle, which includes performance reviews, succession planning, individual growth plans.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to management on people-related matters, offering insights and solutions.
  • Developing HR Strategies: Collaborate with senior management to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues such as grievances, disputes, or other concerns.
  • Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts and maintain positive work relationships.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory change, and new technologies in human resources and employment law, within the assigned geography.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention through innovative HR solutions.
  • Must acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Acumed’s business processes, in order to effectively communicate with managers and supervisors company wide.
  • Responsible for the training, coaching, and development of assigned employees, if/when applicable.
  • Make presentations and recommendations to management regarding new or existing HR practices.
  • Educate employees and managers on HR processes, practices, and initiatives.
  • Champions the alignment between the local entity employment law requirements and Acumed LLC/Marmon’s management practices and expectations.
  • Direct the maintenance of HR records and data systems and review employee changes in status, to ensure fair and equitable application of compensation, HR policies and procedures.
  • Leads change management activities in support of organizational structural changes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Country Specific Duties

  • Adheres to all country specific compliant employment requirements.
  • Responsible for the entire employee life cycle (from talent acquisition to offboarding), including all contract related items and employee network and device access.
  • Responsible for all payroll activities, including Sales Commission calculations in partnership with Finance, within the assigned entity(ies), including data entry, corrections, and other activities within the local payroll system (i.e., merit, market adjustment, vendor management, etc.).
  • HRIS data management and processing of employment actions as required.
  • Benefits administration and vendor management, including retirement plans if applicable.
  • With support from manager and appropriate escalation as required, acts as the assigned entity’s Human Resources functional leader and Business Partner to the General Manager, and other functional leaders.
  • Responsible for management of fleet of automobiles.
