Job Description

The position Account Executive exists to effectively engage with both existing and potential clients through telephone and video channels. By leveraging these communication mediums, the consultant aims to retain and grow current clients and attract new ones. This role plays a crucial part in the objectives of the Sales and Service Business Unit by contributing to revenue growth and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, experience, and engagement.

Reporting to Sales Manager, the Account Manager collaborates closely with the other teams within the Inside Sales department based in Melbourne, which focuses specifically on medium-sized organizations with differing hiring requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage in daily negotiation, objection handling, market & client data analysis to influence customer decisions, ensuring compliance with sales standards & diligent use of CRM system
  • Question, objection handle and understand customer needs and challenges and provide tailored recommendations and overlay lens of driving retention, growth, addressing competitive threats
  • Manage time and prioritise efforts based on revenue and relationships
  • Provide tailored recommendations to address customer challenges, driving retention, growth, achieving revenue targets addressing competitive threats
  • Fundamental understanding of current market trends and incorporates these as appropriate in client conversations. 

Qualifications
  • Skilled in negotiation and objection handling, with the ability to reach mutually beneficial agreements through discussions with internal and external stakeholders, and effectively handle conflict and objections to ensure progress
  • Proficient in account and relationship management, with the ability to tier customers to determine the appropriate customer engagement framework, and demonstrated expertise in building customized, strong, and mutually beneficial relationships
  • Experience and familiarity with sales methodologies within the sales process
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to use compelling arguments to gain commitment from others and to communicate and share business information through a structured narrative to connect, persuade, and sell to clients and stakeholders.
