Short’s Travel Management, a leading provider of NCAA Athletic travel for collegiate athletics has a immediate opening for an Account Coordinator with it’s hotel department, STM-Stay. This position may work remotely.

 

Job Purpose: An Account Coordinator for STM-Stay, you are responsible for assisting Account Executives and Managers with support of ongoing business sales and hotel relationships. This position may work remotely.

  

Essential Functions:

  • Assists Account Executives with core functions and competencies as they relate to the review and management of hotel proposals and negotiations.
  • Assists with building strong, productive relationships with hotel vendors and hotel sales managers to ensure prompt receipt of proposals and bids.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be a good team player; available for cross training utilization, dependable and reliable; is flexible with the ability to multi-task. 
  • We are a team at Short’s Travel Management and as such, you may be expected to assist with or handle tasks outside of your typical position scope for the benefit of our clients or company.
Requirements

  

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with hospitality, hotel customer service and hotel management desired but not required
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with ability to focus on goals without constant direct leadership

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce or Cvent desired but not required
