Our core product, WinePOS, provides Point of Sale, Inventory, Purchasing and Reporting solutions for retailers across the United States.

We are searching for a highly motivated, confident, Account Relationship Manager with perseverance and a drive for results. This individual will ensure our current customers' needs are met through marketing, daily phone conversations, and additional sales initiatives, as well as becoming an integral component in lead generation for back to base opportunities. This position is an excellent opportunity for a qualified candidate to continue a successful sales career in a Business-to-Business sales environment.

As an Account Relationship Manager, you will devote much of your day to nurturing existing customer relations through conversations, direct marketing efforts, and both traditional and non-traditional methods. You will identify the customer’s needs, provide solutions, close the sale, and then gather core information to hand off to the Implementation Team.

Job Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of the position are:

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our clients’ needs, industry trends, and competition
  • Learn and stay current on the operation of all WinePOS products/services and technologies
  • Using existing tools, maintain and execute a clear sales plan, outlining sales activity on a quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily basis which can be easily communicated to Management.
  • Contact current customers based on ranked order by outside sales personnel.  Collect pertinent customer information to audit and update our SalesForce (SF) database and seek out opportunities to add hardware/software to the customer’s existing systems.
  • Maintain and improve current customer relationships via contact schedules and resource/account management as applicable.
  • Request new leads from current customer base. Pass to outside sales via SF lead process.
  • Setup and moderate webinars and product demos if needed.​

Job Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in business or technical field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills. Comfortable and effective in a variety of formal and informal presentation settings.
  • Knowledge of prospects, customers, and market dynamics within the relevant sector (Liquor Industry).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Results driven and self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude and determination to ‘close the deal’.
  • Illustrates a strong sense of integrity and trust.
  • Experience in the Liquor Industry is a plus.
  • Ability to think creatively in identifying new sources of opportunity; comes up with many new and unique ideas; easily makes connections among previously unrelated notions.
  • Can negotiate skillfully in tough situations and settle differences with minimal noise. 
  • Relates well to all kinds of people; builds appropriate rapport on all levels. 
  • Remains cool under pressure and does not become defensive.
  • Pursues everything with energy, drive and a need to finish.


Account Relationship Managers are paid a Base Salary plus commissions based on monthly sales, as well as a generous benefits package that includes Health, Dental, and Supplemental Insurance, 401K, and 4 weeks total PTO.
