We are seeking an experienced Brand Manager to lead the evolution of the DICK’S Media brand and marketing efforts in accordance with the DICK’S media vision and the DICK’S strategic efforts to leverage the power of our data. The Brand Manager- DMN will be responsible for developing the existing DICK’S Media brand, and fostering aggressive growth and adoption within the broader advertising marketplace. This leader will also champion adoption and drive advocacy within the enterprise – facilitating support from critical internal functions such as merchandising, eCommerce, and technology.

Develop & Evolve DMN Brand

  • Partner with DMN Business and creative to develop an effective brand voice that is true to DICK’S Media and the broader DICK’S Enterprise
  • Partner with creative to design and implement the aesthetic, voice, and presentation of all external collateral
  • Build evergreen and iterative multi-purpose marketing materials such as DICK’S Media microsite and sizzle reels for use in key endemic and non-endemic pitches, as well as industry events

Strategize external brand marketing & communications

  • Partner with Investor relations to strategize participation in quarterly earnings releases, and the effective narratives therein
  • Partner with External comms to design and implement an effective Paid + Earned marketing strategy in service of the relaunch and ongoing presentation of DMN to the marketplace
  • Lead planning and execution of DMN participation in critical events such as Upfronts, and related industry events and conferences

Champion internal brand marketing

  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to further educate on the value of DICK’S Media through town halls and learning sessions
  • Drive advocacy within key functions (e.g. merchandising) to bolster internal partnerships

Manage the health and integrity of the DMN Brand

  • Ensure that all activities & communications tie back to the unique brand identity and strategic vision and drive brand growth
  • Maintain and guide the long-term strategic positioning of the DICK’S Media that is true to our unique reason for being
  • Develop strategies to broaden the awareness and appeal of the DICK’S Media to a diverse set of endemic and non-endemic advertisers and partners

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising

  • 7-10 years experience

Targeted Pay Range: $83,000 - $138,200. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
