To further strengthen our presence in the German market, we are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our sales operations in Germany.

As a Sales Director, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our business in Germany. You will lead and inspire the sales team, develop strategic sales plans, and foster relationships with key clients. Your primary goal is to ensure the achievement of revenue targets while expanding our market presence. This position requires a forward-thinking, results-driven leader with exceptional communication and team management skills.

Major Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational sales targets and business goals.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance. Implement training and development initiatives to enhance the team's skill set and ensure continuous professional growth.

Performance Management: Set sales targets for both the team and individuals, track progress, and conduct regular performance reviews. Provide actionable feedback to drive improvement and accountability..

Market Analysis: Analyse market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategies to capitalize on market potential.

Client Management: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.

Sales Operations: Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring operational efficiency. Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and detailed reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and optimizing existing customer relationships. Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of sales performance.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and promotions. Partnering with Securitas Services to provide additional protective services to our clients.

Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with legal, ethical, and company standards. Promote a culture of integrity and accountability within the sales team.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Working experience in an international Security environment or technology industry is preferable.
  • Ideally, having worked in a multinational, experience in a matrixed environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems
  • Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
  • Client liaison and customer focus
  • German and English written and oral proficiency is a must.
