Senior Manager, New Business & Partnerships (All Gender) 

As the Senior Manager, New Business & Partnerships you will oversee the daily sales and new business initiatives for both endemic and non-endemic brands, focusing on a dedicated product and service portfolio for one of our key rightsholders. Currently, this includes national gaming and esports leagues, events in the DACH region and agency services such as marketing strategies, social media & community management, event & streaming production and more – on a national, regional, or global scale. 

You will lead outreach with potential clients to build relationships and gain a deep understanding of their goals, planning process, creative ambition, and core equities. You will negotiate and shape robust partnerships with admired brands in support of the rightsholders most prominent assets and services


In this role you will be responsible for guiding at least one (Junior) Manager, with the potential for more team members as the business grows. This role has the potential to evolve into a leadership position. You will also support the Managing Director and finance team in revenue forecasting, financial matters and staying on top of client statuses.

 

 

YOUR MISSION 

  • Your main task: Approaching (pro-actively) new potential clients to present them either proposals - adjusted to client brand - or creative concepts and activation ideas 
  • Development of briefings, that provide guidance and direction for our creative team
  • Furthermore, you will support and implement an in-depth sales strategy covering sales targets and revenue goals per client in line with the company goals and in close alignment with our Rightsholder Management 
  • Review and update the sales pipeline and forecast tools (CRM, Salesforce and/or Hubspot). 
  • Develop strong relationships with key accounts, maintain decision maker relationships throughout the sales cycle and beyond and identify up-sell opportunities. 
  • Manage & prepare complex contract negotiations supported by our Legal team 
  • Prepare client kickoff meetings and presentations based on client needs 
  • Travel to assist or take the lead with the running of presentations, coordinate/select team members for client meeting participation 

Your profile
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of work experiences, preferably within agency, media and/or sports industry
  • Must be fluent in speaking and writing in German and English
  • Proficient in condensing information, bringing it to the point within internal briefings
  • Ability to work under time pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Client centric work ethics and a sales driven approach, willing to increase revenues on new and existing clients year over year
  • To be recognized by our customer as being ‘Customer Centric’ and a highly professional marketing agency
  • Independence; negotiation, problem-solving and decision making
  • Self-motivated and thrive in a result-driven environment, capable of prioritizing list of tasks and adhering to deadlines
  • Solid understanding for the gaming, esports & entertainment scene, including marketing and analytics, a major plus
  • Able to adjust standard PowerPoint presentations when needed (verbally and visually)
