What you’ll be doing...

As a  ServiceNow Developer, you will apply your knowledge of ServiceNow to configure custom workflows and procedures for various internal groups at Verizon to deliver enterprise-wide business processes. You must be an experienced ServiceNow developer and administration. You should maintain the skills and essential knowledge necessary to design, build, and customize applications and services. Working across the platform, this role delivers new functionality and innovative solutions. You will report to the Manager of ServiceNow Application Development.

  • Contributing to planning, designing, configuring, testing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs and corporate objectives, staying as close to “out of the box” as possible.

  • Evaluating ServiceNow platform performance, debug software problems, and making recommendations for problem resolution.

  • Designing and developing new ServiceNow applications, workflows,widgets and services.

  • Producing technical artifacts such as design documents, data models, workflow diagrams, test matrices and plans, setup scripts, etc.

  • Providing subject matter expertise for areas of the ServiceNow application, and ability to implement modules and other third-party applications used within the environment to ServiceNow for ITSM and operations management.

  • Transforming business needs from the customer to tangible items within ServiceNow using platform modules or creating new scoped applications, working within the scrum framework.

  • Implementing access control lists to ensure an appropriate least privilege approach to solution design.

  • Should have the working experience in Flowdesigner 

  • Completing detailed documentation for workflows and services implemented within ServiceNow.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Four or more years of experience developing large global enterprise ServiceNow instances which includes releases in London or later.

  • Experience in development of Global Risk & Compliance(GRC) framework, Service Portal and Reporting module

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Even better if you have:

  • ServiceNow Certified Developer.

  • Experience solving complex business problems by engineering existing, and new algorithms.

  • Ability to customize workflows, code Business Rules and UI Scripts using JavaScript to create applications and configurations on the ServiceNow platform.
