We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our fast-growing global team.

In this role, you will lead and manage legal matters across the organization, focusing on employment law, commercial contracts, intellectual property, and corporate governance. 

This role requires deep expertise in navigating legal challenges within the SaaS and cybersecurity sectors. You will work closely with senior leadership to mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and support the company's strategic initiatives.

🚀 The Impact You Will Have

  • Become an essential member of the organization: advise senior leadership and executives on risk mitigation strategies and legal implications of business decisions.
  • Oversee the company’s compliance programs, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Counsel on employment-related issues, including contracts, disputes, and workplace policies
  • Review and negotiate a broad range of inbound contracts and agreements, including but not limited to SaaS services, technology licensing, IT/infrastructure, facilities, professional services, consulting agreements and ancillary documents such as NDAs, DPAs, and security addendums, 
  • Support corporate governance and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Manage legal risks related to data privacy, intellectual property, and cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal advice with business objectives.
  • Stay current with evolving regulations affecting the SaaS and cybersecurity industries.
  • Lead and manage external counsel when needed for specialized legal matters.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a legal role within the tech industry
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Strong background in employment law, including US and global commercial contracts
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal issues independently
  • Proven ability to advise senior leadership and manage legal risk
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
