Your missions

Summary Wallpaper* is a global authority on design, architecture, fashion, travel, and the arts. We are looking for a dynamic, New York-based editor with an understanding of multichannel publishing to lead our US editorial operations. As the US Editor, you will help shape and implement Wallpaper*'s content strategy in the US. You will report to the Editor in Chief and Digital Director of Content at Wallpaper*.

What you'll do...

  • Gather, commission, and contribute to stories across all Wallpaper* platforms—print, digital, social media, and newsletters. You will collaborate with Wallpaper*'s global team of writers and editors to produce topical, inspiring content that resonates with our design-driven, future-focused audience.
  • Be the face of Wallpaper* at US-based events, both commercial and editorial. You will engage with industry leaders and partners, ensuring that Wallpaper*'s brand presence is strong and consistent across all platforms.
  • Lead the editorial strategy for the US market, identifying trends, and developing story ideas that align with Wallpaper*'s vision and audience.
  • Work with the global team to ensure that US content is integrated seamlessly across all Wallpaper* channels.
  • Attend and report on key industry events in the US, providing exclusive coverage that aligns with Wallpaper*'s brand ethos.

Experience that would put you ahead of the curve...

  • A deep understanding of and passion for design, architecture, travel, fashion, entertaining, and technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a media content-facing role, with experience producing high-quality, engaging content across multiple platforms.
  • Multichannel Expertise: Familiarity with print, digital, social media, and newsletters, and an ability to create content that resonates across all these platforms.
  • Networking experience representing a brand at industry events.
  • Experience leading editorial projects and working collaboratively with a global team.
