Job description

This newly created position will be the go-to person in the US.  This role offers a strong promotion track.  The role focuses on preparing financial statements for multiple companies, forecasting cash weekly, audits.

Reporting to the VP, Finance & Administration, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data and providing insights to support business decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, and communicate financial information to management. They also evaluate financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

  • Analyze financial statements and reports to detect trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Use financial software to conduct complex data analysis and maintain financial records, including journal entries and ledgers.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and policies; prepare accurate financial reports like balance sheets and income statements.
  • Collaborate with management on financial strategies and forecasts, and assist auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Design internal control systems to mitigate financial risks and lead projects such as budgeting and financial system implementations.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
5+ years of experience:
     Global manufacturing
     Cost Accounting
     Percentage of completion (POC)
     Advanced Excel and Quickbooks
     Excellent communication skills

This position is onsite with work from home flexibility when needed. Local candidates only please.


Salary: 90K-110K + 15% Bonus
