The Technology Business Management (TBM) Analyst I role is an entry-level position focused on learning TBM. By taking this opportunity, you will have a mainly remote schedule, giving you the comfort of working from home and the connection with your team while working in the office two days per month.   

 

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm.  


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Collaborate and support initiatives throughout the business unit, including Technology Business Management, IT Financial Management, IT Service Management, Portfolio Management, Business Relationship Management, Communication, and Business Development to comprehensively promote adoption of practices required to facilitate running IT like a business. 

  • Gather data reflecting IT financial information (e.g., budgets, acquisitions, obligations, and expenses) and IT consumption (e.g., IT assets and usage) to impact forecasting and resource planning. 

  • Collaborate with process owners and SMEs to gather requirements, write stories for enhancement and defect requests, and test solutions to ensure delivery of a high-quality product. 

  • Support research, analysis, communication, technical support, and business relationships in support of the business management efforts. 

  • Design and document TBM report and dashboards, in applications such as Apptio to be published on a regular (e.g., monthly) basis to enable adoption and use of TBM by solution teams and business leaders. 

  • Identify new data sources into the analytical capabilities to deliver enhanced capabilities and discoveries. 

  • Facilitate insights into Technology Costs, IT Service consumption, and IT Service agreements to determine where efficiencies can be implemented. 

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required to support organizational ITBM needs. Defines and manages the operational activities related to Service Level Agreements across a large platform of services to communicate and support the effective performance and management of the requirements. 

  • Administer TBM system user accounts (Apptio) 

  • Support the TBM road map for the practices within IT Business Management to achieve timelines, milestones, business objectives and optimal operational performance. 

  • Review and meet ongoing competency requirements of the role to maintain the skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform, within scope, role specific functions. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, Business, IT, or related field. 

  • TBM Technology Business Management or Apptio experience.  

  • One year in a combination of Solutions/Systems/Business Analyst, IT, Finance/Accounting or Healthcare role or related operational position. 


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • TBM Certification. 

  • Experience with conducting analysis of large data sets and preparing clear summaries. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel using pivot tables, logic formulas, and functions such as VLOOKUP, data validation, named ranges, conditional formatting. 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 

  • Can build and sustain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Understand basic accounting rules and principles.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
