Description

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our dynamic team, providing exceptional mortgage services to clients. In this role, you will guide clients through the mortgage process from start to finish while delivering outstanding customer service. Collaboration with clients is key to understanding their financial goals and customizing mortgage solutions to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in mortgage lending, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and recommend suitable mortgage solutions.
  • Guide clients through the entire mortgage process, including pre-qualification, application, underwriting, and closing for both purchase and refinance transactions.
  • Provide detailed information on available loan programs and products.
  • Assess clients’ financial status and creditworthiness to determine appropriate mortgage options.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources.
  • Monitor the progress of loan applications to ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
  • Assist clients with any questions or concerns throughout the loan process.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and business development goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage your pipeline to ensure loans progress smoothly.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting, and regulations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of loans.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in mortgage software and other related tools.
  • Must be licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) in the state(s) of operation.
  • A client-focused approach with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
