Description

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Mortgage Loan Officer. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, allowing you to balance time between home and the office. You will work closely with the Mortgage Sales Manager and have the opportunity to visit clients and attend meetings as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Reach out to potential clients to offer residential mortgage solutions.
  • Convert inbound and outbound sales leads into applications.
  • Assess clients’ financial needs and recommend the best product and rate options.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales performance goals.

Essential Functions

  • Handle the full mortgage loan process from solicitation to closing.
  • Advise and guide loan applicants through the application process.
  • Collect necessary information and documents from applicants and other parties.
  • Manage loan interest rates, points, fees, and charges.
  • Monitor loan application status and keep applicants informed.
  • Coordinate loan processing and closing with internal teams.
  • Address and resolve any questions or disputes related to loan closings.
  • Share information about loan products, rates, and services with real estate professionals.
  • Attend meetings and presentations conducted by real estate firms and other relevant parties.
  • Prepare reports and ensure accurate and complete loan file documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing and negotiating loans in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with loan processing guidelines, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA.
  • Strong knowledge of standard loan practices, documents, and real estate terminology.
  • In-depth understanding of the mortgage market.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred.
  • Must be based in California.

Compensation

\(52,000 - \)200,000 per year, plus commission (1099)
