We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator Manager to lead our Salesforce development team and enhance our CRM capabilities.

Position Overview:

The Salesforce Administrator Manager will oversee a team of two Salesforce administrators and one Salesforce developer, focusing on the effective management and optimization of the Salesforce backend particularly with flows. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with the Salesforce front-end admin team and the Sales Operations team. The ideal candidate will be adept at agile project management, capable of handling all Salesforce releases, and skilled in driving process improvements and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of two Salesforce administrators and one developer, providing guidance and support.
    • Set team goals, assign tasks, and evaluate performance to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  2. Salesforce Flow and System Management:
    • Design, develop, and manage Salesforce flows to automate processes and improve system efficiency.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex flow issues, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
    • Manage complex Salesforce integrations – working directly with vendors and consultants, potentially with API integrated or other software.
    • Oversee the configuration and customization of Salesforce to meet business needs.
  3. Agile Project Management:
    • Utilize agile methodologies to manage Salesforce projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of releases.
    • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
  4. Release Management:
    • Manage all Salesforce releases, including planning, testing, and deployment.
    • Leads validation efforts by performing and/or assisting others in validating the solution performs as expected.
    • Ensure smooth transitions from development to production, minimizing disruptions and maximizing efficiency.
    • Develop and implement release strategies, including version control and change management.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the Salesforce front-end admin team to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
    • Work closely with the Sales Operations team to understand their needs, gather requirements, and implement effective solutions.
    • Serve as a liaison between different teams to align Salesforce initiatives with broader business goals.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Salesforce administration, with at least 2 years in a management role. Experience with agile methodologies and release management is essential.
  • Skills:
    • Proven expertise in Salesforce flows, including designing, implementing, and troubleshooting.
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization.
    • Experience managing a team and leading projects using agile practices.
    • Proficiency in release management and version control.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service Lightning is a plus.
