Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Technical Lead for our Infrastructure team to drive the design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Infrastructure Design & Management:

    • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure infrastructure solutions, including cloud and on-premises systems.
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of existing infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.

·       Team Leadership:

    • Mentor and guide a team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development for team members.

·       Project Oversight:

    • Oversee infrastructure projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
    • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and resource allocation.

·       Security & Compliance:

    • Ensure that all infrastructure components adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.

·       Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures.
    • Prepare and present reports on infrastructure performance, incidents, and projects to senior management.
Qualifications:

·       Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

·       Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and networking.

·       Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Security Clearance: NV2 clearance is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP, etc.).
  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc.).
