SafeBreach is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our fast growing, category leading cybersecurity startup.

The Senior Sales Engineer is the technical backbone of the sales organization. As an SE at SafeBreach, you will have an exciting opportunity to help drive continued growth by working alongside Regional Sales Directors to evangelize, design, propose and demonstrate SafeBreach's business value to customers and channel partners.

🎯 The Impact You Will Have

  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in sales cycles with technically qualifying new sales opportunities
  • Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on SafeBrach services and solutions during pre-sales customer discussions.
  • Present SafeBreach’s solutions and demonstrate the platform via Web conference tools and face-to-face meetings (travel required when necessary)
  • Build and deliver compelling custom product demonstrations which focus on key business drivers and functional requirements for potential customers
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and establish technical credibility to help advance deals
  • Support regional sales directors in developing high quality sales proposals and supporting materials

Requirements

🫵 Who YOU Are

Relevant Experience

  • 7+ years experience as a pre-sales engineer
  • Experience configuring and delivering software demonstrations
  • Strong security infrastructure experience - Endpoint (AV/EDR), Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SSL/IPSec, DLP, MSSP
  • Knowledge of working in, or managing a professional services organization, or working on large project teams
  • Strong understanding of offensive security concepts and MITRE attack framework
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Startup Environment

  • Demonstrated history driving success in growth-stage startups
  • A demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to change, shifting goals and priorities, and comfort with chaos and ambiguity

Work Environment & Travel

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel when necessary

What We Expect In A GREAT Candidate

  • Experience in offensive security or Breach & Attack Simulation
  • Strong understanding of cloud technology: AWS, Azure, GCP, and others
  • Familiarity with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications on Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems
  • You are comfortable with chaos and with the uncertainty and unpredictability of a startup environment
