Description

We are a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business committed to delivering transformative technology solutions to our government clients. Our expertise spans cybersecurity, cloud modernization, software development, data analytics, enterprise architecture, IT, and artificial intelligence.

We are currently engaged in a key project focused on enhancing defensive security through Heuristic Behavior Analytics (HBA). This initiative aims to provide a robust tool and sensor baseline for continual behavior analysis, anomaly detection, and establishing normal baselines for behavior and traffic patterns.

In this high-profile role, you will act as the primary point of contact managing the deployment, operations, and maintenance of the HBA technical baseline, ensuring that the technical scope is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and secure database solutions based on organizational requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend database technologies and tools to meet business goals.
  • Develop and maintain data models representing the organization’s information architecture.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and normalization across databases.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance for responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks and opportunities for database tuning and optimization.
  • Implement and enforce data security policies to protect sensitive information.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to data management.
  • Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate database systems with applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team on database-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
  • Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery procedures for databases.
  • Offer recommendations for improvements and alternative solutions to enhance the stability, reliability, and availability of the HBA.
  • Collaborate with the team to generate technical documentation, including development planning, technical architecture, and deployment processes.
  • Participate in Change Management and Release Management Plans, making necessary technical adjustments in line with change management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific/technical discipline. Eight years of additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in architecting enterprise-wide database solutions.
  • Prior experience with federal data warehouses and an understanding of government procedures and regulations is preferred.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

Salary Range

The salary for this position ranges from \(77,096.24 to \)117,000, varying based on job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and other factors.

Clearance and Background Investigation

Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Location

This position is remote, with the possibility of adjusting the work location based on mission requirements.
