Your missions

Description

Join our dynamic Information Systems team as a Data Courier Administrator. In this vital role, you will coordinate Epic Data Courier activities and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining shared master files strategies. You will ensure smooth planning, testing, quality assurance, documentation, and user acceptance. Your contributions will be essential in defining and managing change control processes, as well as coordinating Epic environment activities, including updates, upgrades, and build migrations. Collaboration with various departments will allow you to identify, develop, and support effective information security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Courier Administration

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Epic Projects from a data structure perspective and key application processes.
  • Oversee EGC records and Data Courier Interfaces.
  • Review and implement changes based on Epic Technical Consideration recommendations, collaborating with Application teams to assess impacts.
  • Manage System Definition INIs and ensure environments are synchronized.
  • Adhere to and support Change Control processes.
  • Support process improvements for all Epic Applications.
  • Train and support analysts on Data Courier/Content Management.
  • Create and manage Content Management and Data Courier ECLS and IPGs.
  • Map and maintain Epic Content Management, Data Courier, Sherlock, and Nova provisioning.
  • Coordinate and track Epic Project build migrations and manage Non-Project build migrations to Production, including Monthly Maintenance.
  • Assist with maintaining and coordinating resources related to Epic such as IMO, Medispan, Exitcare, and Micromedex.
  • Develop and update process documentation and knowledge base articles for Data Courier, Environment Release, and Testing.
  • Generate monthly audits for Production migrations.

Release Management

  • Understand and document the structure of Epic Environments.
  • Manage and maintain Nova and assist teams in understanding it.
  • Resolve issues related to Epic applications and serve as a backup for communications on Epic Environment activities.
  • Understand and follow the Release Authorization (RA) process for Epic.
  • Collaborate closely with Epic Technical Consultants and Application teams to resolve issues and coordinate meetings.
  • Ensure the stability of the Production environment for Epic applications.
  • Review and address server errors with technical and application teams.

Testing Coordination

  • Assist with coordinating Integrated Testing during major releases.
  • Maintain and manage Integrated Testing processes.
  • Help develop new test scripts with Project Teams.
  • Conduct Migration Audits during Integrated Testing Weeks.
  • Work with software vendors and application teams to implement automated testing for Epic.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Data Courier and Content Management Structures.
  • Experience with Epic Build, Implementation, and Support.
  • Knowledge of Epic Release Management and Integrated Testing.
  • Excellent communication skills across various audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of server systems.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with Eggplant Testing Automation Software Administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1+ years of relevant experience (healthcare, clinical, or IT).
  • Epic Application or Data Courier Administration Certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ServiceNow.
