Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for completing CMDB Onboarding activities related to NIH Service operationalization
  • Conduct Training and coaching, and act as liaisons for SCM Program in order for customers
  • Leverage CIs for ticketing and request process activities
  • Manage the attributes of CI records they own
  • Track lifecycle and status of their of CIs via ITSM tool workspaces
  • Advise the appropriate people on the implications of existing IT systems that can be applied to a problem
  • Develop or assists in the development of work plans, specifications, task sequencing, and the extent to which tasks may be performed concurrently
  • Responsible for working follow-on activities with Discovery and Service Mapping teams for operationalization of Services
  • Attending scrum meetings to report status of onboarding tasks related to operationalization of Services, which includes reporting for Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) measuring progress of CMDB Operationalization project
  • Collaborating with users and stakeholders on any additional needs to achieve operationalization of the Services and CIs owned by customers, which is identified by specific Operationalization criteria met by each Service onboarded by the SCM Onboarding teams
  • Ensure Services onboarded are properly prioritized and onboarding is completed
Qualifications:
  • Experience in working with customers on identification and processing of technology, identified as Configuration Items (CIs), meeting the criteria for Onboarding into the CMDB
  • Experience in using IT Service Management Tools – e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent
  • Preferred: Familiar with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodology and concepts, and ITIL Foundations certified
  • Preferred: Familiar with Government Change, Release, and Service Configuration Management processes
  • Ability to communicate ideas and problem solutions
  • Ability to effectively work with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise
  • Must be customer service oriented

Education:

  • AA in Business or 2 years of technical school
  • Four (4) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (6 years total)

  • Public Trust

 

Location:

  • 100% Remote, USA
  • Monday - Friday (8:00 AM- 4:30 PM EST Time)

Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $50,145 to $70,150
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses
