Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated IT Program Manager to join our CIS (Corporate Information Systems) team.  The IT Project Manager will be responsible for CIS program management, CIS operations development, as well as project management of select CIS initiatives.

You will collaborate with CIS leads to plan and monitor CIS program initiatives, manage CIS initiatives requiring a project manager, and project manage a portfolio of CIS initiatives jointly with a direct report Project Manager.  

You will also be tasked with developing the CIS team’s overall operations.  This includes developing enhanced artifacts, processes, and procedures for all CIS teams to utilize  You will also implement the improved processes across the CIS team with relevant training.  The goal is to increase cohesion between the three CIS teams - IT, Business Applications, and GTMA.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong technical background although not required, the ability to align cross-functional teams, and a proven record of successful project management.  They must also be a self starter with the ability to navigate a fast paced start-up culture that is ever changing.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Monitoring CIS program initiatives throughout each quarter and reprioritize as necessary to align with Company goals.
  • Planning and hosting all quarterly and annual planning meetings with the CIS Leads and team.
  • Publishing quarterly big wins and big plans to highlight CIS accomplishments and communicate current commitments.
  • Finalizing plans to develop operations within the CIS team.
  • Tracking and reporting progress on the CIS operations development plan to executive leadership.
  • Project managing CIS initiatives requiring a Project Manager.
  • Managing relationships with external vendors involved in CIS initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

  • 10+ years of project management experience, bonus if experience includes technology projects
  • Experience using Jira as a project management tool, as well as other project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Asana, etc.)
  • Prior and demonstrable success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in identifying, creating solutions, and implementing solutions for operation and process improvement.
  • Ability to define program objectives, define comprehensive program plan, manage stakeholder communication, initiative risk management, monitor and report on initiatives, establish quality assurance protocol for initiatives, and develop change management processes.
  • Ability to facilitate conversations cross functionality and across all levels of the business and with external vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing time-sensitive priorities.

We’d be Lucky if You: 

  • Understanding of project management methodologies with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects.
  •  The ability to allocate and manage resources efficiently across CIS initiatives.
  • Proficiency of change management techniques and how to apply across a variety of program initiatives.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g. Jira, Asana, Smartsheet) and collaboration tools (e.g. Slack and Confluence).
