Your missions

Description

In this role, you will oversee and guide projects ensuring successful completion while meeting all quality standards. Your responsibilities will encompass managing multiple aspects of project performance, quality assurance, and client relations.

Essential Functions

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and specific client instructions. Address identified deficiencies and maintain high accuracy within the team while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Client & Contractor Relations: Build and maintain robust relationships with clients and third-party contractors. Address issues related to invoices and contractor performance, ensuring effective communication with senior management.
  • Business Process Improvement: Collaborate with senior management to enhance business processes across departments and provide leadership opportunities for project managers.
  • Team Leadership: Ensure Project Managers and support staff meet performance expectations and communicate company policies effectively.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with the team through written and verbal methods, promptly addressing internal and external inquiries.
  • Professional Development: Assist in the training and development of Project Managers to stay updated with professional competencies.

Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Waste Management, Health, Safety, Emergency Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of managerial experience, including hazardous material response and emergency spill response. Relevant certifications such as HAZWOPER, IHMM, RCRA, DOT, and OSHA are required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), strong time management, and organizational skills. Computer literacy is necessary.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform varied physical tasks. Must have adequate vision, color perception, hearing, and the ability to lift equipment up to 20 pounds.
  • Work Environment: This role is based in a climate-controlled office or can be remote, with occasional travel required. A standard 40-hour work week is expected, with additional hours as needed.
  • Transportation & Licenses: Reliable transportation to and from work is essential, along with a valid driver's license.
