Come and join our team as Segment Manager – High Temperature Insulation (HTI). This is an exciting opportunity that focuses on the refractory market in Germany.

The role is fully remote, with regular travel across Germany and some travel to Austria and Switzerland.

What you’ll do:

  • To sell and promote the company's range of HTI products to meet area sales & revenue targets for the Business Unit and Division
  • Targeting refractory market such as steel and glass production factories
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, considering all communication mediums and routes to market
  • Manage selected segmentation A customers with the ambition of nurturing growth in revenue and margin terms
  • Working within a European team, collaborate with other segment managers to ensure alignment between customer value propositions and segment strategies
  • Identify potential customer targets and be responsible for seeking out and building a pipeline of qualified opportunities. Ensuring all pipeline activity is accurately recorded and updated within CRM
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction with products, solutions, and services
  • Key Account Management, developing trusting and sustainable long-term relationships.
  • Establishing the technical and commercial needs of the customer to provide sustainable, competitive, and value-added solutions
  • Work alongside the technical support team to build a comprehensive understanding of the company products to jointly offer appropriate and valuable solutions to the customer
  • Be responsible for contributing to and developing sales plans to achieve sales goals, increase market share and securing long-term growth
  • Track progress against targets on an ongoing basis & take necessary action to refocus efforts if targets are not being met

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the construction industry. Preferably someone with previous experience within the HTI business segment
  • Ability to develop and sustain a strong professional network, and influence and develop solid working relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as effective prioritisation and organisational skills with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • A technical background would be advantageous, so if you have an engineering/technical qualification, this is desirable
  • Willingness to travel within the region able to deliver on sales targets whilst working remotely
  • Fluency in German and English language is a must
