Your missions

Description

In this role, you will promote our products and services by establishing and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing customers, striving to become their most valued and trusted business partner. This field-based position will require you to utilize consultative selling techniques to maintain and enhance sales within your assigned territory. Your main focus will be on helping customers succeed while achieving our sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth & Customer Relationships: Identify new sales opportunities, conduct sales calls and presentations, and maintain robust customer relationships to boost sales and market penetration.
  • Consultative Selling: Apply consultative selling techniques, leveraging product knowledge and sales tools to effectively target new prospects and facilitate market growth.
  • Account Management: Continuously manage assigned accounts, taking corrective action as necessary to enhance and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Communication: Regularly interact with assigned accounts and internal departments to provide crucial information and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • New Account Setup: Assist in the setup of new accounts, which includes managing customer applications, order guides, pricing, and schedules.
  • Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales results and trends pertaining to your territory.
  • Problem Resolution: Swiftly identify and resolve issues by gathering and analyzing information to develop alternative solutions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success, preferably within hospitality or supply/distribution sales. Experience in relationship sales and up-selling is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; strong presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities; proficient in Microsoft Office 365, CRM systems, and analytical software tools.
  • Personal Attributes: Goal-oriented, self-starter, creative thinker, and a strong team player. Ability to thrive under pressure and make timely decisions.
  • Work Environment: This position necessitates frequent travel, occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs), and may require evening/weekend work based on customer needs. A reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace are essential for remote work.
