Compensation Range: $31 - 34 per hour

We are seeking a remote Digital Publishing Specialist to join our client's team and play a key role in content publishing and development for their websites, as well as special projects.

Reporting to the Digital Publishing Manager, this role will ensure timely, accurate, and accessible content is published across platforms, while providing outstanding client and stakeholder support. Responsibilities:

Web Content Publishing

  • Assist in timely and accurate website content publishing using a centralized content management system.
  • Participate in the web content publishing process, determining the best content publishing solution based on established guidelines and internal customer requirements.
  • Ensure content publishing follows web content and publishing best practices, style guide standards, brand standards, and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with digital accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
  • Collaborate with development managers to create and migrate content for project launches.
  • Perform user acceptance testing for new websites, content management system enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Audit websites to ensure adherence to publishing processes, accuracy, and compliance.


Stakeholder and Client Support

  • Ensure service levels are met for publishing requests through the ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved content issues to the appropriate support level.
  • Document events and problems in the ticketing system.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on ticket status.
  • Communicate daily with internal and external teams, clients, and vendors regarding project tasks and tickets.
  • Deliver outstanding client and stakeholder customer service.


Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors
  • Demonstrated experience with web publishing processes, content management systems, and related tools.
  • Strong sense of website layout and design, with experience in mobile and responsive design principles.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and photo editing.
  • Familiarity with digital accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.0 guidelines (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while working under tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Customer-oriented with strong client support experience, adaptable to various personality types.
  • Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
    • Ability to travel within the Division as needed.
    • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with occasional overnight travel.
    • Must have normal hearing and eyesight to document and communicate effectively.
    • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
    • The position may involve stressful situations at times.
