JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for leading the planning, analysis, documentation, and execution of business requirements for operational data requests and various initiatives. Acting as a leader in analytics, the Senior Reporting Analyst demonstrates strong productivity, critical thinking, collaboration, and professionalism. This role also involves providing training and support to the team to build efficiencies in day-to-day tasks.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fulfill all internal and client-driven reporting and analytical requests.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and generate ongoing reports.
  • Identify and communicate trends in data that can lead to business process improvements.
  • Provide feedback on potential technology enhancements to improve analytic tracking.
  • Ensure data accuracy and appropriateness for client distribution.
  • Meet monthly sales deadlines and client-driven reporting timelines.
  • Provide support to sales teams during internal and client calls by reviewing and explaining data.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring a clear understanding of client requirements and technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal contacts and supervisors to complete and deliver reports on time.
  • Work alongside business and management teams to establish data needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams to verify and confirm data integrity for both internal and external requests.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and proactive work environment with all coworkers and project teams.
  • Curate and manage internal and external analytic dashboards using AWS Quicksight.
  • Lead the interpretation and analysis of data across departments.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including business and functional requirements, status updates, and reporting templates.
  • Train and coach team members on new processes, creating training materials for increased efficiency.
  • Take ownership of project milestones, ensuring meeting preparedness, and facilitating active engagement in detailed tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide regular, detailed status updates to managers and business leads to ensure on-time project completion.
  • Accept ownership of assigned projects and take a proactive approach to drive Dane Street initiatives forward.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support internal business leadership as needed.
  • Adapt to various team dynamics and priorities, taking on tasks that may fall outside of the regular scope of this role.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned, based on business needs.
  • Accept ownership of assigned projects and initiatives as assigned. Independent and proactive effort is expected in this area and with respect to all Dane Street initiatives.
  • Support all internal business leadership in a subject‐matter‐expert capacity, as needed
  • Adapt to different internal/operational and team dynamics as appropriate to each situation. This adaptability includes the need to accept tasks that may not regularly be associated with this role and to shift priorities as requested.

Other duties & special projects, as assigned and based on business needs.



Requirements

JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Preferred experience in healthcare and/or insurance industries.

Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in PC/MAC platforms, including Excel, and Google Sheets.

Experience with AWS Quicksight and SQL for data extraction and manipulation is a plus.

A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Familiarity with industry jargon, workflow, and claims processing, with the ability to advise clients on approaches to meet goals.

Strong documentation skills to keep all stakeholders informed and ensure project goals are met.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc. required to do the job duties listed above. Long periods of sitting and computer work.

WORK FROM HOME TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Supply and support their own internet services.

Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work from home position.
