Therapeutic Alliance LLC is a private behavioral health agency offering professional services throughout Virginia for the past 15 years. We strive to provide culturally sensitive counseling services to children, adults, and their families in several languages. Clients comprise all cultural and economic backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals.

The Therapeutic Alliance staff possess educational and clinical training that allows us to address mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral issues using evidence-based methods.  We provide extensive supervision to every case as a means to ensure a sound therapeutic approach. Our goal is to know our clients truly and to use this knowledge to guide, support, and motivate them as they make necessary life changes. 

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare or mental health recruitment and will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to the offer process. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. 

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the healthcare and mental health sectors. 

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings. 

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring. 

  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required. 

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 

  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and progress to the management team. 

Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor's degree in mental health or a social-work-related degree (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work) related major, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.  5 years of directly applied work experience can replace a bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of 1 year of successful recruitment experience, preferably in the healthcare or mental health sectors. 

  • Proven experience managing the full recruitment cycle with proven ability to hire volume positions as well as more complex individual roles 

  • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and tools. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 

  • Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 

  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
