Job description

QUALITY MANAGER

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international, ISO 9001/20000/27001 Certified, CMMI Level 3 rated full-service provider with more than 36 years' experience in the Federal, military, and commercial marketplaces.

Overview: SRI is seeking candidates with experience managing, updating, and auditing the corporate Quality Management System (QMS). The ideal candidate will have experience with various ISO standards and CMMI for services.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all ISO and CMMI documentation implementation, revision, and incorporation into the SRI QMS.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, develop improvement plans, and once approved, implement the plans.
  • Using analytical and statistical techniques, monitor and measure the effectiveness of the work performance through data analysis, process improvement, and change requests.
  • Develop an internal audit schedule; conduct scheduled and ad hoc internal audits and assessments.
  • Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action Request process.
  • Support the Management Review process with Quality related issues and inputs and participate in weekly/monthly meetings to discuss project metrics.
  • Support project teams in accomplishing all activities required to achieve corporate and project milestones.
  • Maintain the QMS compliant to the work and quality standards.
  • Provide staff training on quality related policies, procedures, tools and techniques for improving processes and practices.
  • Execute the day-to-day quality related activities (i.e. log improvement recommendations, change requests, process updates, process related inquiries).
  • Prepare and conduct internal audits against customer and project performance requirements.
  • Objectively evaluate, through audits and reviews, processes, deliverables, and services against the applicable process descriptions, standards, and tools.
  • Identify and document noncompliance issues. Ensure that noncompliance issues are addressed.
  • Provide proposal support to include quality reviews, authoring quality related sections, and assisting with compliance checks.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of experience leading Quality programs at the corporate level
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience with various quality and management frameworks including ISO 9001, CMMI (Services constellations), and Project Management
  • Statistical analysis background and experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related areas (Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, etc.), Master’s degree desired
  • Training certificates in both ISO and CMMI
  • PMP certified a plus
