Summary
BriteCore is seeking a technical Senior Implementation Specialist to help drive our rapid growth. You will be managing complex client implementations, specifically configuring products/rates in our Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance policy administration system (PAS) to deliver value to clients. To ensure success, you must be able to review and understand our clients’ insurance manuals/rates, translate the contents into requirements, and configure them into our platform. What you’ll do
- Project manage and own the success of smaller 4-6 month implementations, overseeing project initiation, planning, execution, and closure
- Fully comprehend insurance materials, including policy and rating manuals, underwriting guidelines, and other information pertinent to insurance activities
- Analyze client materials uncovering risks for potential problems/issues (such as missing, unclear, or contradictory data and/or information)
- Configure and test P&C insurance products with ratings using client data, internal tools, and basic Python programming, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Research, troubleshoot and problem-solve configuration issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to define and drive project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Facilitate effective meetings, ensuring actionable outcomes and decisions with clear follow-up communication
- Train clients to validate the completeness and correctness of the configured products and rates and to use and configure our PAS software
- Work collaboratively with our clients and build strong relationships
- Up to 30% of domestic overnight travel is required for this role
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science (MIS), Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience leading complex implementation projects
- 5+ years of experience configuring P&C personal and commercial lines/products/ratings for Home, Farm, Umbrella, BOP, and Auto, in a PAS solution
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst interpreting P&C insurance manuals rates, and operational information and creating product configuration requirements
- 2+ years of experience coding in Python
- Experience creating complex P&C rating structures
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships, set expectations, and persuade customer engagement
- Superior organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Scrappy, comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and learning as you go
Bonus points
- Experience using a programming language like Python or JAVA to develop lines and/or rating structure in a PAS
- Experience working at a startup company
- Extensive experience analyzing and/or configuring personal auto products in a PAS
- Experience using project management solutions like Wrike
- PMP or similar project management certification
