Summary of Job Duties:
The Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for delivering advanced pharmaceutical care, including the management and optimization of medication therapy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing expert advice on drug-related issues. This position involves collaborating with healthcare providers, conducting medication reviews, and participating in patient education to improve health outcomes.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pharm.D.
  • 1-year applicable experience
  • Arkansas Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy 
  • Certification as a licensed Pharmacist by the State of Arkansas or eligible for licensure by the State of Arkansas

  • Certification to administer immunizations by the State Board of Pharmacy or eligible for certification to administer immunizations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PGY1/2 residency completion
  • Board Certified in applicable area
  • 5 years applicable experience
