Overview:

Maxor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing pharmacy benefit manager. The Senior Project Manager at MaxorPlus leads medium to large projects, strategic project initiatives and/or multiple components of larger, interrelated projects or complex customer implementations using a defined project management approach. Projects have both single and multiple group/department interaction with longer project duration and with high business impacts. Ensures all milestones are achieved within identified and documented time, budget, and performance expectations for the project. Partners directly with functional managers to organize interdepartmental or cross-functional activities to ensure company resources and staff are used effectively. Communicates effectively with all levels of management, project sponsor(s), functional teams, and the project team regarding project status. Establishes and administers change control processes to project scope and project budgets. Coordinates and assigns responsibilities to team members that are related to the successful completion of a project. Serves as an expert in project management methodologies, tools, resource management practices and issue, risk, and change management techniques, managing within the defined project management framework. Works independently; receives minimal guidance. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Leads projects with moderate scope, risks, and resource requirements.. Develops and manages operational initiatives to deliver tactical results.

Qualifications:

Education:                              Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 1 year of work-related experience

 

 

Experience:                            Minimum of 3 years of relevant project management experience in healthcare or PBM. PMP Certification preferred. Salesforce and Jira experience preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

Project Leadership:

  • Lead project teams to ensure targets (scope, schedule, budget, quality) are monitored and controlled for successful project delivery.
  • Manage assigned project teams to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.

Project Management:

  • Develop and implement detailed project management plans to meet customer requirements.
  • Mitigate risks proactively and develop solutions for issue resolution, fostering a culture of transparency.
  • Provide regular status updates to key stakeholders through meetings and reports.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Responsible for all project documentation and formal communication.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with all levels of management, project sponsors, functional teams, and the project team.

Quality and Standards:

  • Ensure quality, service level, productivity, and customer standards are consistently met.
  • Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with cross-functional leadership to lead process improvement projects.
  • Resolve customer/member escalations and identify opportunities to improve quality.
  • Assist with training as a subject matter expert.
