This role offers the opportunity to manage impactful projects that contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of our built environment. You will oversee the installation of electrification technologies, such as heat pump water heaters and HVAC systems, along with other energy efficiency upgrades in large multifamily housing complexes. This position allows you to lead with purpose and help modernize buildings for a greener future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Oversee all phases from start to finish.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, contracts, and cash flow to ensure projects remain financially on track.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Project Leadership: Coordinate with consultants and guide all stakeholders towards project success.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of building systems and construction principles to drive effective and sustainable solutions.
  • Incentive Program Management: Ensure compliance with incentive programs and facilitate timely payments.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering construction or energy efficiency projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and financial tools.
  • A deep understanding of building systems and construction processes.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel throughout California to visit project sites.
  • Home office located within a 90-minute flight of the LA Metro or SF Metro areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, business, or related field.
  • Fluent in English.
